Deepening International Exchanges to Build a Platform for Education: Hanyang University Delegation Visits School of Economics and Management at Beijing City University


On May 21, 2026, a delegation from Hanyang University visited the Shunyi Campus of Beijing City University (BCU) and paid a visit to the School of Economics and Management. The BCU delegation, including Pro. Yang Peiyu, Dean of the School of Economics and Management; Pro. Ma Wei, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office; Pro.Deng Kaiyuan and Pro.Yao Yan, Vice Deans of SEM; and Ms.Hou Enyang, Study Abroad Advisor, warmly received the guests. A series of events were held, including a welcome ceremony, academic lectures, a symposium, and a campus tour, jointly promoting international educational cooperation and the development of faculty-student exchanges.

The School of Economics and Management at BCU extended a warm welcome to the Hanyang University delegation comprising MINGU KANG, SOOMIN KIM, JINU CHANG, Shen GuilianChen Nuoya. BCU highly commended Hanyang University’s long-standing achievements in higher education, discipline development, and international cooperation, and expressed the hope that this visit would serve as an opportunity to deepen practical collaboration in talent cultivation, academic exchanges, and faculty-student visits.

The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including program development, teaching models, international cooperation projects, and faculty and student exchanges, sharing experiences and cooperative ideas, thereby laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.

Following the discussions, a student lecture was successfully held in the West Lecture Hall of the Comprehensive Teaching Building. Two faculty members from Hanyang University delivered detailed presentations on the university’s profile, strengths in academic disciplines, international programs, and opportunities for further study, providing BCU students with clear guidance on understanding higher education resources in South Korea and expanding their pathways for overseas study.

This visit by the Hanyang University delegation further strengthened the friendly ties between BCU’s School of Economics and Management (SEM) and South Korean universities, enriched the forms of international exchange within the SEM, and injected new momentum into the cultivation of globally oriented talents and the expansion of overseas cooperation channels.
