On the morning of May 16, 2026, the Confucius Institute at the University of Guadalajara (CI) successfully organized the first Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) of the year. The test covered Levels 1 to 5, with a total of five examination rooms. It attracted 201 candidates from local universities, secondary schools, and the broader community, including 120 Jobsems students and 81 external candidates. The test was conducted in an orderly and efficient manner, demonstrating the increasingly mature examination support system of the CI.
By 8:00 a.m., all test centre staff were in place. Invigilators guided students to queue up according to their test level and room number at the entrance, carefully checked admission papers, and reminded candidates to have their ID documents ready.
The centre arranged a pre-test equipment check to ensure the proper functioning of the audio equipment. Invigilators closely monitored the candidates and provided timely assistance to those who needed it.
During the test, invigilators read out the examination instructions one by one and smoothly guided the process. Candidates wrote down their answers attentively, and the entire event proceeded in a well-organized manner.
HSK score certificates are not only a strong proof of Chinese language proficiency but also a necessary requirement for studying in China.

The CI has always attached great importance to integrating teaching and testing. Adhering to the philosophy of “promoting teaching through testing and enhancing learning through teaching”, it strives to improve teaching quality, optimize testing services, provide better preparatory support for local learners, maintain high standards of test organization, and offer richer resource sharing and study-abroad guidance. The CI is committed to ensuring the best possible test-taking experience and fairness, helping more Mexican students embark on their journey of learning Chinese.
Candidates can check their test results on the Chinese Test Service website. The CI will simultaneously publish registration notices for the next HSK test through its official website and social media channels. All Chinese language learners are welcome to stay tuned and register actively.
