4 Recently, the Beijing Municipal People's Government issued a decision on recognizing individuals and achievements for the Jingshi Award. Beijing City University (BCU) achieved a double breakthrough in both the quantity and quality of awards. It independently applied for or acted as the lead applicant for achievements that won one first prize and three second prizes of the Jingshi Award (Education and Teaching Achievement Award). Among these, graduate education won a second prize for the first time. Additionally, two achievements jointly applied with partner institutions won second prizes.

These awarded achievements cover multiple core areas such as comprehensive teaching reform, digitization of education and teaching, industry-university-research collaboration, and new liberal arts. They systematically demonstrate the university's active exploration and solid results in innovating talent cultivation mechanisms, reforming talent cultivation models, restructuring curriculum systems, and deepening practical teaching. This fully recognizes BCU's commitment to the fundamental task of fostering virtue and nurturing talents, deepening education and teaching reform, and improving the quality of talent cultivation.

BCU will take this opportunity to focus on a new round of talent cultivation reform, strengthen connotative development, fully leverage the exemplary role and promotion of outstanding teaching achievements, continue to increase teaching investment and achievement cultivation. It continues to motivate all faculty members to engage in teaching reform and research, update educational concepts, innovate teaching methods, enhance teaching capabilities, and strive to elevate BCU's education and teaching level and talent cultivation quality to a new height.
