Recently, faculty and students from the Aviation Service Arts and Management major of the School of Economics and Management at Beijing City University (BCU) participated in the "Dance Palette" International Dance Art Competition, organized by "New Idea" under the Russian All-Russian Education Publishing House, with their Chinese classical dance piece "New Hundreds of Birds Worshipping the Phoenix." This competition targets global dance enthusiasts, is academically supported by the "New Concept" Center of Excellence for Teaching, strictly adheres to the educational legislation of the Russian Federation (Federal Law No. 273-FZ "On Education" dated December 29, 2012), and is dedicated to discovering and cultivating outstanding talents with creativity and practical ability through dance art. In 2025, the competition attracted over 300 teams from 32 countries worldwide, establishing itself as an education event brand with international influence.


"New Hundreds of Birds Worshipping the Phoenix" stood out from numerous entries and won the "International Award for Group Performance." Instructors Deng Bin and Song Ran from the School of Economics and Management received honorary certificates for "Outstanding Instructors," adding a new achievement to BCU’s international art education outcomes.
