On September 4, the International Affairs Office of BCU organized a new semester working meeting for foreign teachers currently employed at Beijing City University. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Director of the International Affairs Office, the heads of Academic Affairs Office of School of International Culture and Communication, as well as program directors and faculty members.

The meeting reviewed highlights of the previous semester’s teaching activities, emphasized key tasks and arrangements for the new semester, and reiterated the university’s regulations regarding teacher ethics and instructional management. In addition, to recognize outstanding foreign teachers from the last semester, an awards ceremony was held. The International Affairs Office presented Certificates of Excellence to Ms. Sofía Molina from Cuba and Mr. Steve Manthorpe from the UK. Furthermore, to ensure the smooth implementation of teaching tasks in the new semester, the meeting concluded with a session dedicated to discussing teaching arrangements between the academic programs and the foreign teachers.

This semester, the International Affairs Office will continue to organize activities such as the "Language Corner" and "Open Classes" led by foreign teachers, further supporting the enhancement of students' communication skills of foreign languages.
