Singapore University of Social Sciences Revisits BCU to Discuss International Education Collaboration

On December 18th, the Director of China Admission Department at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), Mr. Liu Bin, and his delegation visited BCU. They held discussions with teachers from International Affairs Office and School of Economics and Management (SEM) to explore new opportunities for international collaboration, aiming to elevate the partnership between the two universities and support the development of internationalized education at BCU.

During the meeting, both sides delved into topics such as curriculum innovation, student cultivation, overseas study programs, and further education planning. They summarized past experiences and clarified future directions for cooperation, solidifying the foundation for ongoing collaboration. In his presentation, Mr. Liu Bin introduced SUSS to nearly a hundred faculty members and students from SEM. He highlighted that SUSS is one of Singapore's top public universities, offering comprehensive academic disciplines and abundant resources, particularly excelling in business, social sciences, and education. It provides professional qualification examinations and leads in applied education. Special emphasis was placed on the one-year Masters programs taught in Chinese (in fields of Management and FinTech). During the interactive session, he patiently answered questions regarding study abroad applications and major selection, providing valuable advice.

BCUs international cooperation focuses on cultivating application-oriented talents to serve high-quality educational development. Seizing this opportunity, we aim to advance collaborative projects between the two universities, including sending students for exchange visits and further studies, introducing cutting-edge courses, and encouraging participation in international exchanges. This will enhance the cross-cultural communication skills of both faculty and students, nurture global talents, and promote educational advancement.
