Recently, students from School of International Culture and Communication have won awards in national-level competitions under the guidance of teacher Mr.Li Congheng. Mr.Liu Shixuan, a student majoring in Broadcasting and Television Directing, won third prize in the 2023 Telling China's Stories Creative Communication International Competition National University Photography Special Competition, hosted by the China Foreign Languages Publishing and Distribution Bureau. Ms.Guo Meqi and other students majoring in Communication Studies and Broadcasting and Television Directing won third prize in the College Award 2024 Live Broadcast Competition, hosted by the China Advertising Association.

Mr.Liu Shixuan's photography series focuses on ordinary Chinese people, celebrating laborers and embodying a strong humanistic spirit, fully reflecting the strong feelings of contemporary Chinese youth towards the vigorous development of the new era. The live broadcast team led by Ms.Guo Meqi prepared for the China University Advertising Art Festival College Award competition from April onwards and competed against over 180 elite teams from universities across the country for three consecutive weeks in May, ultimately emerging victorious.
