On May 29th, School of Information Technology held its 2024 Annual Forum of Enterprise-University Collaboration on Shunyi Campus. Representatives from more than 20 of corporations and institutions, such as China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd, BAIC Group, Beijing Yanjing Brewery Co.Ltd., Sino-Bridge, Beijing CHJ Information Technology Co., Ltd, etc. was invited to attend the forum.

During the forum, Wang Hui, Dean of School of the Information Technology introduced the basic situation and expressed gratitude to cooperating enterprises for their long-standing support of talent cultivation and internship employment efforts. She emphasized that School of the Information Technology attaches great importance to collaboration with leading industry enterprises, hoping that both parties, adhering to the principle of "student-centered, integration of education and industry, and shared development," can deepen and broaden cooperation in areas such as curriculum development, construction of internship practice bases, and fostering an ecosystem that integrates "industry + talent + research."

Representatives from each enterprise respectively introduced their company's background and the status of receiving interns and graduates from School of the Information Technology for employment. They also proposed ideas and suggestions for furthering the in-depth cooperation between BCU and enterprises.

Following this, BCU and enterprise representatives held a signing ceremony, where Wang Hui, on behalf of School of the Information Technology, signed cooperation agreements with newly established internship practice base representatives. Both sides committed to strengthening their close collaboration, actively exploring new pathways for integrating education with industry, advancing the high-quality development of education, and ensuring talents that BCU cultivated will fully meet the demands of the industry.
