Recently, the San Marino Confucius Institute assisted the University of San Marino in organizing its Open Day. Prof. Guo Xiaoxia, the Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute (CI), and all the teachers from CI participated in the event. The event attracted more than forty students and teachers of the University of San Marino.

A series of colorful Chinese cultural activities were organized in the Open Day. At the event, the Chinese director of the CI introduced famous Chinese tea, typical Chinese food, Chinese traditional festivals, Tai Chi, calligraphy and Weiqi (Go). Teachers from the CI demonstrated Chinese calligraphy, and the students held the brushes and followed the teachers to experience the mystery and charm of Chinese characters. The students learned about Chinese culture in a joyful atmosphere, which attracted a lot of other audience members to stop to watch and participate in the event.

San Marino Confucius Institute is an important channel for teachers and students of the University of San Marino to learn about China and listen to Chinese stories. The San Marino Confucius Institute will summarize the experience of this event and continue to promote Chinese cultural activities.
