On April 4^th and 5^th, the Wow Dance King·College Cup National Open Competition and CEFA Standard Dance Social Art Level Examination Performance Exhibition, organized by the International Standard Dance Professional Committee of China Education Federation of the Arts and artistically directed by World Association of Teachers of Dance (WATD), was held in Beijing. The Dance Performance (Sports Dance and Education) major of the School of Performance Arts was invited to participate and showcased the teaching achievements of the university in front of colleges and media across the country. At the opening ceremony, the teaching achievement showcase work BCU Concerto from the School of Performance Arts made a dazzling appearance and received unanimous praise.

In this competition, the invited teacher Mr.Gao Miao led more than 70 students from the Dance Performance (Sports Dance and Education) major in a fierce 13-hour competition. They ultimately won over 60 outstanding achievements, including champion, runner-up, third place, and fourth place in the professional group, college A, B, and C groups of Latin and modern dance, as well as single item competitions for those 18 years old and under, and 21 years old and under.

In the future, the Department will continue to build practical exchange platforms for students, improve their specialized skills, and cultivate high-quality applied talents in sports dance that meet the requirements of the new era.
