Students from the School of Performance Arts participated in the GDC National Youth Points Race and won multiple awards.

On April 5th, the GDC National Youth International Standard Dance Points Race, organized by China Youth and Child Health Education Promotion Committee of UNESCO, was held in Beijing. The Dance Performance (Sports Dance and Education) major of the School of Performance Arts was invited to participate.

This competition was led by the invited teacher Mr.Gao Miao and refereed by Ms.Cao Fangyuan. After 10 hours of fierce competition, BCU students ultimately won outstanding achievements, including champion, runner-up, third place, and fourth place in the youth group Latin dance, international open amateur Latin and modern dance, and college group Latin dance. The specific award results are as follows:

The GDC National Youth International Standard Dance Points Race launched by the Galaxy Competition was held for the first time in April this year. This is a grand gathering of outstanding dance players from home and abroad, aimed at showcasing the talent and charm of young people in the field of international standard dance. In the future, The Dance Performance (Sports Dance and Education) major will continue to build practical exchange platforms for students, improve their specialized skills, and cultivate high-quality applied talents in sports dance that meet the requirements of the new era.
