From August 26 to 29, the Third Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Conference on Collaborative Innovation in Architectural Technology was held at Hebei University of Architecture. Meng Yuan, Dean of the School of Urban Construction of Beijing City University (BCU), and architecture faculty members Ma Jing and Han Cong were invited to attend.


Leveraging its strong research foundation and talent development capabilities in the field of architecture, BCU has officially joined the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaborative Innovation Alliance for Architectural Technology. At the special session on "Artificial Intelligence Empowering the Transformation and Development of the Construction Industry," Professor Ma Jing delivered a keynote presentation titled "AI-Empowered Design Education." Focusing on the theme "Smart Teaching Platforms: Digital Restructuring of the Entire Architecture Education Process and Industry-Driven Applications," the presentation systematically shared practical experiences in building AI-powered smart teaching platforms and reconstructing the entire architecture education process through digitalization. It also explored strategies for cultivating high-quality professionals capable of meeting the demands of the construction industry’s intelligent transformation through university-enterprise collaboration. The talk, praised for its theoretical innovation and practical relevance, sparked extensive recognition and active discussion among experts and scholars in attendance.
