BCU participates in the Belt and Road International Alliance of Architecture Universities

Recently, BCU joined the Belt and Road International Alliance of Architecture Universities and was invited to participate in the annual conference in 2023.

On the conference, President Liu Lin delivered a video speech. Professor Meng Yuan, Director of the School of Urban Construction, represented the school in signing a MOU cooperation agreement with Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember and Udayana University. Leaders and department heads from domestic universities such as Beijing University Of Civil Engineering And Architecture, Anhui Jianzhu University, University Of Science & Technology Beijing, Hebei University of Architecture, Nanchang University, Qingdao University of Technology, Shandong Jianzhu University, Tianjin Chengjian University, Wuhan University, as well as foreign universities such as Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember and Udayana University, and Tunku Abdul Rahman University attended the meeting.

The Belt and Road International Alliance of Architecture Universities was established on October 10, 2017, in Beijing. It is committed to serving the urban and rural construction of countries along the Belt and Road initiative. The alliance aims to use research projects and technological innovation as guidance, create innovative cooperation mechanisms, build cross-border and multi-university platforms for social collaborative innovation, promoting the cross-border flow of funds, products, talents, and services. It also aims to promote personnel and cultural exchanges between universities across borders, encourage universities to jointly hold various academic conferences, scientific competitions, and carry out various Chinese language promotion activities.
