On October 27, the 1st Beijing Intelligent Manufacturing and SMT Technology Forum and the Annual Technical Conference of Artificial Intelligence Group was successfully held in Shunyi Campus of BCU. The conference was hosted by the Intelligent Manufacturing Committee of the Beijing Institute of Electronics and School of Information Technology of BCU, and co-hosted by China Electronic Standardization Institute, and the Intelligent Electronic Manufacturing Research Center of School of Information Technology, as the leader of the Artificial Intelligence Working Group of the Intelligent Manufacturing Committee of the Beijing Institute of Electronics, was in charge of the organization and implementation of the meeting.
With the theme of "Share Technology, Create Future", the conference attracted many experts and scholars from research institutes under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), aerospace, automotive electronics, rail transportation and other fields. Prof. Zhang Mingchun,the Party Branch Secretary of School of Information delivered a welcome speech at the opening ceremony of the conference. Industry technologists, senior engineers and scholars shared cutting-edge knowledge and cases in the field, and Prof. Zhang Yongzhong, the Director of the Intelligent Electronic Manufacturing Research Center and Intelligent Manufacturing and Unmanned Systems Research Laboratory of BCU, introduced the latest scientific research achievements in coplanarity detection, augmented reality, and intelligent control of Huineng, and other scientific research results.
It is the first time that BCU invited experts and scholars in the field of intelligent manufacturing in Beijing as the host to participate in the conference, which further expands the influence of BCU in the related fields, and strengthens the connection between BCU and the relative colleges and universities, research institutes and enterprises. Participants have expressed that they will take this academic meeting as an opportunity to carry out in-depth cooperation with BCU in various aspects such as scientific research, talent cultivation and students' internship and employment.
