BCU 2023 incoming students successfully completed the registration

Starting from August 27th, new students of various batches have been arriving Beijing City University for registration. The 2023 freshmen from all over the country and international students from Mexico and Bolivia have successfully completed the enrollment procedures and are about to embark on a new journey in their lives.

BCU attaches great importance to the welcoming of new students and has meticulously planned for it. All schools and departments are well-prepared to welcome the new students. Pro.Gong Yu, Chair of the University Council of BCU, Pro.Qin Shiyou, Vice Chair of University Council and Vice President of BCU, Pro.Ye Yingfang, Vice Chair of University Council of BCU, Pro.ZENG Yuhong, Vice President of BCU, and other university leaders visited the registration site to get detailed information about the registration process, expressed their warm welcome to the on-site staff, and had cordial exchanges with the new students and their parents.

During the Orientation Week, volunteers welcomed the new students at Beijing Railway Station, Beijing West Railway Station, Beijing South Railway Station, Beijing Capital International Airport, and Beijing Daxing International Airport, delivering the first warmth to them. At the registration site, the new students completed the registration procedures in an orderly manner and submitted the necessary enrollment documents. The dormitory administrators arranged and received them attentively, and the new students settled into their dormitories, starting their university life. The welcoming work was organized and enthusiastic, and the new students took pictures of the beautiful campus scenery and gathered for group photos.

In accordance with the overall requirements of the university, relevant departments in charge of student affairs will carry out education for the 2023 new students, organizing a series of activities that integrate education on ideals and beliefs, patriotism, national defense, university history, adaptation to university life, academic conduct, and daily safety. These activities aim to guide the new students in establishing correct outlooks on life, worldview, and values, as well as helping them adapt to and integrate into university life as soon as possible.
