On July 3^rd, the 2021 graduation celebration of Beijing City University was held in Shunyi Campus, with the theme of "Youth Celebrating the100^th Anniversary of the Founding of CPC, and Making Contributions for the New Era". The celebration presented wonderful performances such as music, song and dance, as well as poetry and painting with music. BCU leaders, heads of relevant schools and departments, teacher representatives, parent representatives of graduates, over 6,300 graduates of Grade 2021, over 1,900 graduates of Grade 2020 who especially returned to the graduation celebration, and alumni representatives from Grade 1991-2019 attended the celebration.

 At the celebration, BCU President and Chairman of University Council, Liu Lin delivered an inspiring graduation speech to the graduates.

He pointed out that the graduation celebration for Grade 2021 shared the same year of the centenary birthday of the CPC. In the historical process of the CPC leading people in achieving the first centenary goal, we could see BCU’s entrepreneurs emancipating the mind, and becoming the pioneers; we could see generations of BCU staff educating and cultivating students for the country; we could see BCU’s students striving and devoting to the good of people. The entrepreneurial history and development history of BCU, and the growth experience and struggle experience of BCU staff and students have become the most precious gift of time as it is well integrated into this great era.

 President Liu gave suggestions to the Grade 2021 graduates in three aspects:

1. To strengthen belief and increase ambition. He hoped the students to deepen the understanding of the country, nation, society and family constantly in the future in the deep heart, set up lofty ideals and ambition, balance good career and family responsibility, and develop into a heroic Chinese youth.

2. Be true to themselves and enhance moral integrity. President Liu pointed out that no matter in good times or adversity, students should dare to adhere to their true characters, maintain the  moral integrity, have the courage to compete and challenge, temper themselves repeatedly in social practice, be generous, and be a young Chinese full of backbone.

3. To strengthen competence and enhance confidence. He encouraged students to maintain good study habits, learn from books, practice and others, with strong strength and confidence so that they could be very capable Chinese youth.
