BCU Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with the Capital Museum

On October 13th, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between Beijing City University and the Capital Museum was held in Shunyi Campus of BCU. HAN Zhanming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Capital Museum, and relevant staff from its Academic Committee and the Party Construction Department attended the meeting. LIU Lin, President of BCU, TIAN Peiyuan, Executive Vice President of BCU, and relevant staff from the Scientific Research Department, Social Service Department, and the Arts and Crafts major attended the meeting.

 

In his speech, LIU Lin firstly thanked the Capital Museum for its support and trust in BCU, and put forward four suggestions on the cooperation: to deepen and continue the work on the basis of the existing professional cooperation; to expand more cooperation in moral cultivation communication, talent training, volunteer service, and cultural creative product development; to communicate more frequently and establish a daily docking mechanism for mutual exchange; to establish a win-win situation and uphold the concept of excellent culture and education to further realize complementary advantages, mutual benefit and common development.


HAN Zhanming systematically introduced the historical development, construction and operation of the Capital Museum, and pointed out that the career development orientation matches BCU’s mission. Both parties should take this cooperation as an opportunity to jointly shoulder the social responsibility of giving full play to the value of cultural relics and carrying forward the traditional culture, and jointly serve the urban development of Beijing.

At the signing ceremony, President LIU Lin and Secretary Han Jianming signed a strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, both parties will cooperate in the protection, research and utilization of cultural relics, off-campus talent training base, project research, business exchange and training, postgraduate education, cultural creative product development projects and other aspects.

Both parties also had discussions and exchanges on the principles of strategic cooperation and the direction of future cooperation. HAN Zhanming and his delegation also visited the exhibition hall of the Arts and Crafts major and the Cultural Relics Restoration Studio in BCU.
