On June 30th, 2021, the foreign faculty term review meeting was held by International Affairs Office, with all foreign faculty of BCU and relative Chinese coordinators attending. Besides, Ms. LIU Jiaoyue, the Deputy Director of School of International Culture and Communication, was invited to the meeting.
On the meeting, the English teacher Mr. SUTHERLAND-ROWE JAKE from IELTS Department shared his teaching experience in oral English. Jake has been engaged in IELTS teaching and has been elected by students as one of Most Popular Teachers for several times. Afterwards, all the faculty exchanged opinions on teaching methods and professional construction of oral English courses to promote the teaching in the coming terms.
The work of this semester was reviewed on this meeting and arrangement for the next semester was deployed, having enhanced the communication and discussion on teaching between foreign and Chinese faculty.
