From the mid October to the early November, the International Affairs Office held Foreign Language Salon for students. It aims to enhance students’ interest of English learning and improve their oral communication skills.

Based on the plan of English Salon this semester, the English Salon are conducted online. A total of 5 online activities are hold, with over 70 students from Shunyi Campus and Haidian Campus participating in. We invited four foreign teachers Max, Frank, Daniel and David to hold salon activities separately. The topics chosen are close to our life, in terms of livable city, weekend activities, favorite travel, ideal career, celebrities and so on.

After taking the English Salon, students said this oral English corner greatly enhance their enthusiasm of English learning, also improve their level of oral English.

The international Affair Office will hold the second salon activities in the early December. All students are welcomed to take part in the Foreign Speaking Salon. If you are looking forward to opening up your horizons and improving English level, please join us.
