International Affairs Office organized an ancient poetry recitation contest for international students

Recently, in order to make international students better experience the charm of Chinese poems and improve their Chinese language skills, the International Affairs Office organized an ancient poetry recitation contest for international students.

During the contest, students presented ancient poetry by reciting, chanting and performing with their own understanding of the content of the poems. Tang poems such as Spring Night Rain, Missing My Love, On the Pond and An Overlook in Spring were showed in a vivid way. Students expressed their aspirations and feelings by the poetry, and their friendship has also been enhanced in the contest, which allowed them to share the romantic cultural wealth of mankind.

After voting, Andrea Fernanda Reyes Lechuga, Rafael Guadalupe Leandro García, Elisa María Rojas Reyna were awarded the Outstanding Individual Award, and the third group was awarded the Best Team Award, and the International Affairs Office presented the winning students with the prize "Three Hundred Poems of the Tang Dynasty", as a token of encouragement.

The Poetry Recitation Competition demonstrated the international students' enthusiasm for learning Chinese language and ancient poems, and also provided an opportunity for them to show their learning achievements.
