Recently, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission announced the selection results for the 2025 Beijing Higher Education Undergraduate Teaching Project Construction. Beijing City University (BCU) had a total of 23 projects selected. Among them, there are 4 undergraduate teaching reform and innovation projects (including 1 in continuing education), 3 high-quality undergraduate courses, 4 high-quality undergraduate textbooks (including 1 key project and 1 in continuing education), 3 high-quality undergraduate lesson plans, 4 high-quality undergraduate courseware (including 1 in continuing education), 1 excellent teaching laboratory, and 4 outstanding teaching innovation demonstration cases.  

The approval of these 23 projects reflects BCU’s long-term commitment to deepening undergraduate education and teaching, and systematically improving the quality of talent cultivation. In recent years, BCU has systematically focused on key areas such as innovation in talent cultivation models, optimization of curriculum systems, enhancement of practical teaching, and construction of high-quality teaching resources, driving teaching reform and connotative development forward. Taking this opportunity, BCU will fully leverage the exemplary and leading role of these high-quality projects, continue to deepen teaching innovation, and continuously enhance the quality of undergraduate education and teaching as well as the level of student development.
