On March 6, the International Affairs Office (IAO) organized a new semester meeting for international faculties currently working at the university. The Deputy Director of the IAO, program directors, and relevant faculty members attended the meeting.
The 2025-2026-2 new semester meeting first reviewed the highlights of teaching activities from the previous semester, emphasized the key priorities and teaching arrangements for this semester, and the university's regulations on teacher ethics, professional conduct, and teaching management.
During the session on legal awareness, the IAO introduced some detailed content of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Public Security Administration Punishments (2025 Revised Edition), which officially came into effect on January 1, 2026. The IAO stressed the importance for all international faculties to strengthen their legal awareness, and to abide by Chinese laws and regulations, so as to ensure orderly work and life in China.
In addition, to recognize outstanding teachers from the last semester, an awards ceremony was held. The IAO presented Certificates of Excellence to Ms. Sofía Molina from Cuba and Mr. Johann Marchart from Germany.
Furthermore, to ensure the smooth implementation of teaching tasks in the new semester, the meeting concluded with a session dedicated to discussing teaching arrangements between the academic programs and the international teachers.
