Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the national award list for the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition 2024. The project titled “Dream Factory: Bubble Mart in Trendy Collectible Action Figures”, submitted by students Shao Yuanyuan, Liu Yuxuan, and Tao Tianyu from the School of Cultural Heritage under the guidance of instructors Li Ning and Chen Yu, stood out and secured a Bronze Award in the Higher Education Group of the competition.


The China International College Students Innovation Competition (2024), co-hosted by the Ministry of Education, relevant government departments, and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, is a grand event with participation from 5,406 institutions, submitting 5.14 million projects and involving 20.836 million participants. During the municipal-level competition, our university’s delegation delivered an outstanding performance, earning 1 gold, 3 silver, and 15 bronze awards, fully showcasing the innovative spirit and daring determination of our students.
This achievement serves as a strong affirmation of the results of our university’s innovation and entrepreneurship education. Beijing City University has long prioritized cultivating students’ innovative and entrepreneurial capabilities by establishing practical platforms, offering specialized courses, and organizing related activities, fostering a vibrant environment for creativity. Moving forward, the university will continue to deepen reforms in innovation and entrepreneurship education, inspiring more students to engage in innovative endeavors.
