The documentary "Two Boys Named Jigme" is an outstanding practical achievement obtained through the overall planning of the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of Radio and TV Directing in the School of International Culture and Communication, as well as the joint cultivation by off-campus industry mentors and on-campus academic mentors. Su Mingqing, an industry mentor for graduate students majoring in Drama and Film & Television (Radio and TV Directing), and Dajie Dingzeng, the director, served as the chief producers. Academic mentors Liu Xilei and Zhou Weiwei served as producers. The main creative team consisted of undergraduate and postgraduate students majoring in Radio and TV Directing. The documentary "Two Boys Named Jigme" tells the story of two Tibetan teenagers named "Jigme" at an altitude of 4,000 meters on the plateau, who made their debut as actors in the movie "The Boy in the Moonlight". They experienced the surprise of being favored by fate, shyness in front of the camera, setbacks to their self-esteem, and the awkwardness of adolescence, and finally gained friendship and growth. The film also presents their innocent and pure laughter and the expectations of the ignorant teenagers for the future.
