Beijing City University co-hosted an alumni homecoming event with the Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) of the University of Warwick.

On June 15th, Beijing City University co-hosted an Alumni Homecoming Event with the Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) of the University of Warwick. Professor Robin Clark, Dean of WMG. Director of the Programmes in mainland china, and over 50 WMG alumni from across China attended the event. Tang Yingying, an alumnus from the 2021 graduation cohort, hosted the meeting. The event was also live-streamed to the alumni group online, with over 10,000 views.

During the event, Professor Robin Clark delivered the welcome speech. While welcoming the alumni back home, he also introduced the development achievements and future plans of Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG). As the largest school at the University of Warwick, WMG boasts 908 faculty members and has educated nearly 30,000 students.

Furthermore, the event invited six previous graduates and two representatives of currently enrolled students who are now working for the companies such as Shanghai Eternal Asia Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., Wuxi Runchuang Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd., Schindler Elevator, Qingzhi Scientific Research, Bohai Securities Shanghai Branch, Milkway Intelligent Supply Chain, Shanghai Inshang Culture Communication Co., Ltd., and Bosch China. They shared their learning experiences during their studies and career developments after graduation.

Since Beijing City University started the Chinese-foreign cooperative education program in Programme and Project Management with the University of Warwick in 2014, the programme has over a hundred graduates so far. In the future, Beijing City University will continue to strengthen the bond between alumni and the alma mater through more diverse alumni activities, jointly promoting academic exchanges, career development, and social contributions. Let’s move forward together and write an even more glorious chapter in inheritance and innovation.
