Students and teachers from the School of Urban Construction Win Awards in the 6th National Higher Education Institutions Green Building Skills Competition

Recently, the results of the 6th National Higher Education Institutions Green Building Skills Competition, hosted by the China Construction Education Association and the Green Building and Energy Efficiency Professional Committee of the China Urban Science Research Association, were announced.

 

 The team of Cui Yilin and Miao Zimeng from the Architecture Major of class 2021, Gao Tianzi from Architecture Major of class 2022, and students Zhang Kaiyuan and Chen Jiawei from the Landscape Architecture Major of class 2022 , with the work Eternal Life - Green and Low-Carbon Transformation of Silicon Valley Computer City, won the third prize (guided by teachers Liu Xiaoxi and Zhang Zeping).  The team of students Lin Jing, Wang Kexin, Li Xiaoying, Zhao Zixuan from the 2022 Architecture Major and Pisa Sha from the  Landscape Architecture Major of class 2022, with the work Wind Rises, won the Excellent Work Award (guided by teachers Kang Qi and Song Xin).

The National Higher Education Institutions Green Building Design Skills Competition is guided by the Teaching Guidance Committee of the Architectural Environment and Energy Engineering Major of the Ministry of Education and co-organized by the China Construction Education Association and the Green Building and Energy Efficiency Professional Committee of the China Urban Science Research Association. Starting with the registration in September 2023 and ending with the announcement of the winning works by the experts, the competition has lasted nearly 9 months.  Since the start of registration, the competition has received enthusiastic responses from National Higher Education Institutions across the country, with a total of 1530 teams participating.  After a series of evaluations, 406 works advanced to the finals. The competition organizing committee's professional technical review group reviewed the 406 works that had advanced to the finals, ultimately selecting 221 excellent works.
