Confucius Institute at the University of San Marino Hosts the Workshop on Chinese Poetry and Stories

On June 28th, the Confucius Institute at the University of San Marino was invited to host a workshop on Chinese poetry and stories at the Serravalle Secondary School. The entire 3F class participated in the event.

The teacher Liu Longyu from the Confucius Institute led the students through a series of teaching activities, including explanations of poems and Chinese characters, video watching, and a quiz. These activities helped the students appreciate the rhythm of "The Mulan Ballad". By organizing role-playing activities, the students vividly reenacted Mulan's bravery and her sense of duty to her country. The students became particularly interested in the Chinese language through trying on costumes, applying facial makeup, and performing the poem.

This workshop was the first attempt by the Confucius Institute at the University of San Marino to combine the learning of Chinese poetry with film watching and performance, achieving excellent educational and promotional outcomes.
