Confucius Institute at the University of San Marino Concludes 2024 Spring Semester Chinese Language Courses for Undergraduates Successfully

On June 11th, the Confucius Institute at the University of San Marino successfully concluded its spring semester Chinese language courses for undergraduates and awarded certificates to qualified students.

At the beginning of the year, the Confucius Institute reached an agreement with the postgraduate and undergraduate departments of the Design Faculty at the University of San Marino to offer introductory Chinese language courses, for which the students would receive academic credits. This was the first time the Design Faculty had offered a credit-bearing Chinese language course. The course integrated diverse elements of Chinese culture alongside the core language teaching resulting in high student engagement. Three students challenged the HSK2 proficiency exam after a limited number of classes and passed successfully, paving the way for their participation in the Beijing summer camp in July.
