2024 International Students Chinese Language Programme Opened

2024 International Students Chinese Language Programme officially opened in BCU Haidian Campus on September 9th. This year, 20 students,from Mexico and Uzbekistan, were admitted to this program.

At the opening ceremony, Vice Chair of University Council, Professor Ye Yingfang, attended the ceremony and welcomed the students, hoping that everyone could cherish the learning time in BCU, improve their Chinese level, enhance their professional ability and learn Chinese culture during their study in BCU.

 

Deputy Director of School of International Culture and Communication, professor Lyu Yingli, attended the opening ceremony. On behalf of the School, she welcomed students to join the big family of School of International Culture and Communication. She hoped that students could communicate with Chinese students during their study and jointly improve their language level and cross-cultural communication skills. Several Chinese students majoring in Spanish and English also expressed their welcome for meeting the new friends coming from afar, hoping that the new students could adapt to their study and life as soon as possible and open a new chapter of their life in BCU.

 

Then, Ms. Wang Lijian, from International Affairs Office, gave a safety education lecture, emphasizing On-Campus and Off-Campus Safety Guidelines, aiming to ensure the safety of the participants during the study in BCU.

International Affairs Office invited the police officers of Haidian Branch of Beijing Exit and Entry Administration to give a lecture on the Chinese laws and regulations to the students on September 10th. The police officers introduced relevant laws and regulations in China to the students in detail, so as to make them clear about safety issues studying in China.

International Students Chinese Language Programme is an important international student programme in BCU. Teachers from International Affairs Office will continue working with faculties to help students enjoy this journey of learning Chinese and life in BCU.
