On July 5th, a delegation from the Istituto musicale pareggiato Gaetano Braga di TERAMO in Italy, led by Federico Paci, the Dean of the Academy, along with the Head of the Vocal Department and the Head of the Piano Department, visited Beijing City University. Ye Yingfang, Vice Chair of University Council of BCU, Chen Lin, Director of the Performaning Arts, and relevant teachers from the school and the International Cooperation Office participated in the reception.

Pro.Chen Lin first introduced the major settings, educational objectives, and various professional equipment and training facilities to the delegation members in the  training building of School of Preforming Arts.

During the talks, Pro.Ye Yingfang and Prof. Federico Paci briefly introduced the basic situations, educational orientations, and international cooperation of both institutions. Subsequently, School of Preforming Arts and the academy discussed future cooperation and reached a preliminary cooperation agreement on student exchange.

Since establishing the Confucius Institute with the University of San Marino in 2015, Beijing City University has been actively exploring exchange and cooperation with Italian universities, and has successively sent students to study and exchange at Milan Polytechnic University, University of Florence, Venice Architecture University, and Florence Academy of Fine Arts.
