On 25th May, the OSD Elite Dancers International Standard Dance Open Competition was held in Jinan, Shandong Province, hosted by the China Cultural Management Association/Chinese Cultural Information Association. The Dance Performance (Sports Dance and Education) programme of the School of Performing Arts was invited to participate in the event. With the concept of Fairness, Glory and Experience, the competition is centred on dancers, and creates a high-end and high-quality competition platform for competitors from all over the country.

This tournament was led by professional teacher Ms.Cao Fangyuan of Dance Performance (Sports Dance and Education) major and a total of 25 students to participate in the competition. After 10 hours’ fierce competition, from the higher education institutions group, youth group, the A A new star group and other single and double groups, BCU won a total of more than a dozen excellent results, such as the champion, runner-up, the army.

In the future, the programme will continue to build a practical exchange platform for students, improve their special skills, and cultivate high-quality and applied talents of sport dance in line with the requirements of the new era.
