City University of Macau visited BCU

On June 5th, Professor Jin Lixian, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the City University of Macau, visited BCU. The visit was received by Dean of School of International Culture and Communication, Deputy Director of the School of Public Administration, Deputy Director of International Affairs Office, along with relevant faculty members. Within the framework of a cooperative agreement, both parties discussed potential collaborations in cultivating talents across various levels from bachelor level, master level and to doctoral level—in disciplines such as foreign languages, applied linguistics, and social work.

In the afternoon, Professor Jin Lixian, as the President of the International Association for Intercultural Communication Studies, delivered a lecture titled "Teaching Intercultural Communication: Approaches and Examples for English Major and College English" to our faculty. This was followed by in-depth exchanges and discussions with related subject teachers, during which Professor Jin shared her research findings and valuable experiences in intercultural communication, thereby providing our faculty with fresh perspectives on teaching this subject.

Looking ahead, our university is committed to actively fostering cooperation with the City University of Macau, aiming to establish a platform that facilitates exchange and collaboration for both our students and faculty members.
