Student from School of International Culture and Communication volunteered at the 2024 China-Germany (Europe) Hidden Champions Forum

On May 13th, the 2024 China-Germany (Europe) Hidden Champions Forum, organized by the People's Government of Shunyi District of Beijing, the Senate for International Economy and the Beijing International Technology Exchange Alliance, opened in Beijing. With the theme of “Open Innovation, Win-Win Cooperation”, the forum was attended by nearly 100 representatives of political and business fields as well as heads of invisible champions from Germany and other European countries. Zhao Yunqing, a student majoring in Elementary Education (German) of the School of International Culture and Communication, participated as a volunteer in the conference.

Zhao Yunqing was mainly involved in the reception of the German guests and introduced the Chinese tea culture to the guests during the forum. The organizer highly praised the excellent performance of Zhao Yunqing. This volunteer activity not only improved our student's German language application and intercultural communication skills, but also demonstrated the new generation of young students' understanding and expression of the spiritual core of traditional Chinese culture.
