Recently, Beijing City University won the "Excellent Organizer Award" in the 7th "My Beautiful Encounter with China" Essay and Short video Contest for international students.

The International Affairs Office organized international students to participate in the competition, and Liu Shiyi, Zhang He, Zhang Ruitong and Dong Jie, the graduate students majoring in Radio and TV Directing of School of International Culture and Communication, took part in making the short video. The main content of the short video is the international students' “city walk” in Beijing, in which the three international students are deeply attracted by the humanities and cuisines of Beijing, and show their love for the local customs and traditional Chinese culture.

The “My Beautiful Encounter with China” Essay and Short Video Contest for International Students is organized by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education and hosted by Chinese Service Center for Scholarship Exchange (CSCSE) of the Ministry of Education, aiming to promote humanistic exchanges among the young generation of different countries, show the styles of international students from different countries, and discover the touching stories of international students about China. The International Affairs Office will continue to actively organize international students to participate in the relevant competitions and make more BCU’s contributions in telling Chinese story.
