The 2024 Sino-British Workshop in Finance and Business of School of International Culture and Communication Successfully Concludes

From March 11th to 17th, School of International Culture and Communication successfully held the 2024 Financial Literacy with You Sino-British Workshop at the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. The event was led by Pro.Guo Yongjian, Department Director of the Finance and Management of BCU, with a total of 15 participants, including faculty representatives and student delegates.

During the workshop, Pro.Alison, the Deputy Dean of the Business School at the University of Hull, along with faculty representatives, engaged in in-depth discussions with BCU faculty representatives on collaborative content, joint teaching, and extended warm wishes for 40th anniversary of BCU. Students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in ten finance and accounting-related courses at Hull, such as Marketing, Information Systems Accounting and Finance, and Introduction to Finance. They also toured the university campus, library, student accommodations, and engaged in meaningful exchanges with BCU students studying at Hull. Pro.Kerry Dodson, Director of International Affairs at Business School of Hull, presented each student with a certificate of completion.

Through this workshop, the collaboration between the two institutions was refined, enhancing the quality of overseas education and further promoting the development of international education within the School of International Culture and Communication.
