Recently, Jia Haozhe and Wang Siyao, students of Dance Performance (Sports Dance and Education) major of School of Performing Arts in the grade of 2022, won the forth place of the 21-year-old Modern Dance group in the Youth Category of the 2024 Universal Open in UK.

The two students overcame all the difficulties of being in a foreign country and played at their true level in the performance, achieving excellent results in the competition with their tenacity and excellent skills.

This international competition has improved the students' own shortcomings and also pointed out the direction for their future progress. The Department will continue to follow the teaching form of "training by competition" and "promoting learning by performing", and actively build a platform for students to exchange and study abroad.
