On May 21, the opening ceremony for 2023 Master in Program and Project Management (MSc in PPMC) collaborated with the University of Warwick was successfully held. Mr. Nick Phillips, Academic Director of the China Programs at Warwick Manufacturing Group(WMG)of the University of Warwick, Liu Jing, a staff from International Affairs Office of Beijing City University and all fresh students of Grade 2023 attended the ceremony.


At the opening ceremony, teacher representative of BCU and foreign representatives congratulated and warmly welcomed the arrival of fresh students, and introduced the programme development overview and course requirements to the students to help them further understand the programme content, and benefit them from becoming composite talents in project management with both innovative spirit and practical ability. Miss Yan, the representative of outstanding students, shared her work experience and her feelings and thoughts during the study in the past year, and encouraged the new students to adapt to the cultural differences and actively participate in classroom activities. Mr. Dai, the representative of fresh students, expressed his expectation for the future courses.

BCU and the University of Warwick (UK) have been cooperating since 2013 to establish a Sino-foreign cooperative education programme, which is dedicated to cultivating project management specialists with an international outlook. Over the past ten years, the two universities have cooperated to train hundreds of graduates, and have become the second largest teaching centre of the University of Warwick in terms of the development of overseas cooperative programmes. BCU will always be committed to providing students with a more diversified and internationalised learning platform, and will continue to expand its cooperation with overseas universities to provide students with more opportunities for inter-university exchanges.
