Recently, the list of winners of the 2023 Beijing Universities Industrial Design Competition, sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and hosted by North China University of Technology, was announced. A total of 1,180 design works from undergraduate students of 24 Beijing universities, including Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, and Beihang University, participated in the competition. In the end, 59 first prizes, 118 second prizes, 118 third prizes, and 190 honorable mentions were awarded, along with 10 excellent organization awards and several outstanding instructor awards.

Under the guidance of professional instructors, students majoring in product design, industrial design, and visual communication design in the School of Arts and Design stood out from over 1,000 design works and won 1 first prize, 6 second prizes, and 7 honorable mentions. At the same time, faculty members Ms.Liu Yiwei, Pro.Liu Hong, Pro.Qin Xuping, and Pro.Li Tianyi were honored with outstanding instructor awards, and Beijing City University received the excellent organization award.

Beijing Universities Industrial Design Competition has been held for 11 sessions, showcasing the progressive nature of industrial design education in Beijing's universities and promoting the integrated development of industrial design education and industry in Beijing.
