The 2023 “Chinese Bridge”Winter Camp of the Confucius Institute at the University of San Marino was opened in BCU

On Dec 27th, the “Chinese Bridge” Winter Camp of Confucius Institute of the University of San Marino was officially opened in BCU. Prof. Ye Yingfang, Vice Chair of University Council, and relevant teachers from School of International Culture and Communication (SICC) and International Affairs Office attended the opening ceremony.

On Dec 27th, the “Chinese Bridge” Winter Camp of Confucius Institute of the University of San Marino was officially opened in BCU. Prof. Ye Yingfang, Vice Chair of University Council, and relevant teachers from School of International Culture and Communication (SICC) and International Affairs Office attended the opening ceremony.

On behalf of BCU, Ye Yingfang expressed a warm welcome to the participants and wished them a fulfilling trip in Beijing and a fruitful winter camp. Prof. Zhang Xinyuan, Deputy Director of SICC, and Prof. Guo Rui, Head of English Department, said in their speeches that they hoped the participants could make new friends, communicate and interact with the students of BCU and make progress together, and fully experience the profound culture of Beijing.

The winter camp consists of Chinese language learning, cultural engagement, study tours and cultural exchange activities between Chinese and foreign youths, aiming at allowing the participants to understand Chinese traditional culture in combination with the unique Chinese traditional customs in winter, and through the cultural visits, they will be able to gain a deeper understanding of Beijing, learn about the colorful culture of the capital city from multiple directions, and be aware of people’s modern daily life in China.
