International Affairs Office held a New Year celebration for foreign teachers. Foreign teachers and the Chinese teachers from each department of BCU joined the celebration.

The room is decorated with the factors of traditional Chinese New Year. Foreign faculty tried to make different types of dumplings in the canteen and experienced the traditional Chinese cuisine usually served on the occasion of New Year celebration. The chef of the canteen showed how to make the pastry orange dessert and rose cake and carved an eagle and a dragon with white radish and carrots, wishing all the teachers’ dream come true in the new year and moving forward with the Chinese dragon spirit of bravery and courage. All foreign faculty shared their daily work and teaching insights at school.

At present, the foreign teachers in our university are from six different countries. International Affairs Office has been actively paying attention to the personal growth and cultural integration of foreign faculty, and serving well for them when they are in or outside of campus.
