On October 25th, teachers of the Confucius Institute of Guadalajara University were invited to attend the the opening ceremony of Chapala Teaching Site of Language Center at the University of Guadalajara. It is reported that the teaching site is the key project of the University of Guadalajara to promote language education and culture in Chapala area. In the opening ceremony, except the representatives of the Confucius Institute, the head of Chapala and the teaching leaders of the University also participated in the activity.
On the day of the opening ceremony, the Confucius Institute at the University of Guadalajara gave a dance performance and music performance with unique features to the audience.

The dance "QingPingYue" performed by the volunteer teacher Huang Yanxiao, showed the soft style of Chinese classical dance to the audience in the melodious music. The sword dance performed by the volunteer teacher Li Xueming was vigorous. The performance of the two teachers were both rigid and soft, showing the unique charm of Chinese dance to the audience. Finally, the volunteer teacher Yu Yehui led the audience to feel the beauty of Chinese traditional instruments with the song "Phoenix tail Bamboo in the Moonlight", and made the audience feel as if they were in the quiet bamboo forest and felt the quiet and mysterious atmosphere brought by the silk and bamboo music instruments.
With this activity, the Confucius Institute of the University of Guadalajara made its debut at the Chapala Teaching Site. In the future, the Confucius Institute will continue to cooperate with the Language Center of the University of Guadalajara to improve the development of language teaching and promote the communication of local Chinese language and culture.
