From October 20th to 22nd, 2023 Annual Conference of the China Social Work Academy and the China Social Work Development High-end Forum: Development Strategies of Social Work under the Background of Chinese-style Modernization was held in Guilin, Guangxi. Teachers from the School of Public Administration, Pro.Lin Xia, Pro.Zhang Juzhi, and Pro.Ma Ye attended the conference and were invited to comment and speak.
The China Social Work Development High-end Forum consisted of a main forum and five sub-forums. Pro. Lin served as the commentator for Sub-forum 1: Development Strategies of Youth and Family Social Work under the Background of Chinese-style Modernization, while Pro.Zhang gave a keynote speech for Sub-forum 4 on The Path and Effect Analysis of Professional Practice Capability Cultivation of Community Workers under the Concept of Service Learning : Development Strategies for the Construction of Social Work Talent Pool in the New Pattern, which received high recognition from the attendees.
2023 Annual Conference of the China Social Work Academy and the China Social Work Development High-end Forum are of great significance in promoting the construction of social work talent teams during the new journey of Chinese-style modernization. It provides a platform for professional learning and exchange for colleagues in the field, and also offers important references for the discipline construction and development of the School of Public Administration.
