Recently, San Marino Confucius Institute was invited to attend the 35th anniversary celebration of the San Marino-China Friendship Association. Zheng Xuan, the Chinese Minister to Italy and San Marino,Barbara Terenzi,the president of San Marino-China Friendship Association, Guo Xiaoxia, the Chinese Director of San Marino Confucius Institute and nearly 100 people attended the activity.

Guo Xiaoxia, the Chinese Director of San Marino Confucius Institute paid a tribute to Gian Franco Terenzi, the founder of San Marino-China Friendship Associationin in her speech. She praised the association for its contribution to the cultural exchanges between the two countries, especially in promoting the understanding of Chinese culture, expressed her gratitude to the Association for its support to the work of the San Marino Confucius Institute, and conveyed the sincere blessing of Beijing City University to the San Marino-China Friendship Association. On behalf of the president of BCU, she presented a snuff bottle with the reputation of "national intangible cultural heritage as a gift".

The warm atmosphere of the event enhanced the guests' affinity for Chinese and Chinese culture, and enhanced the relationship between the San Marino-China Friendship Association and the San Marino Confucius Institute, laying a foundation for the two sides to further cooperate and jointly promote the cultural exchanges between the two countries.
