On September 7, "2023 Technical Forum on Quality and Safety Testing of Chinese Herbal Medicines and Drinking Tablets (Beijing BCEIA Station)" was successfully held at the China International Exhibition Center, Conference Room E3-B (Shunyi Pavilion), and three teachers from School of Biomedicine, Dr. Yang Chunmei, Dr. Liang Hanyi, and Dr. Fu Gangze were invited to participate in the meeting.

The meeting focused on the preparation of the 2025 Pharmacopoeia, pesticide residue detection in traditional Chinese medicine, quality control of traditional Chinese medicine, and selection of standard substances for traditional Chinese medicine, etc. Dr. Fu Bangze, a teacher of Traditional Chinese Medicine major of BCU, made a report on the topic of "Quality Control of Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on Artificial Intelligence Image Recognition", which practically solved the difficult problems of traditional Chinese medicine detection and promoted the application and development of artificial intelligence technology in the related field, and was affirmed by the guests of the conference.
