On September 30, Guadalajara University Confucius Institute successfully celebrated the mid-autumn festival. Chinese Director and Foreign Director of CI, along with all teaching faculties and more than 150 students and local residents participated in this event.

The theme of the event is “under the moon”. The show includes several parts, such as the introduction of the festival, Chinese tea ceremony, traditional Chinese dance performance, poem reciting, tasting the mooncake, book exhibition and other cultural activities. The event gives local residents opportunities to experience the Chinese culture and arts, and also to enjoy the mid-autumn festival vibe.

14 students who now study in Beijing City University, recorded video and sent sincere greetings to their families and friends from Beijing, which brings the event to being in full swing.

The event shows the cultural meaning of the Festival to the local residents, and also brings all the people who are interested in China and Chinese culture together in the Confucius Institute, experiencing the Chinese culture closely. Guadalajara University Confucius Institute will continuously introduce China and Chinese culture to the local people by developing more creative cultural activities.
