Recently, the short documentary film "Find the Yiyang" instructed by Dr. You Ran of the Film and Television Performance Department of School of Performing Arts, directed by Zhang Haolin from the Performance (Film and Television Performance) major, with the participation of Ning Zhixin and other students, was shortlisted for the 2nd "Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival".

The short documentary film "Find the Yiyang" was jointly produced by the School of Performing Arts of BCU and the Yiyang Tune Art Conservation Center. The film focuses on the national intangible cultural heritage --- Yiyang Tune. Yiyang Tune is a special tune formed by the Southern Opera of Song and Yuan dynasties spread to the Yiyang, Jiangxi Province, combining with the local folk music and absorbing some religious music, and it is called Yiyang Tune because it was produced in Yiyang, Jiangxi Province. After the creation of the Yiyang Tune, it was soon widely spread in the folklore, because it was similar to Yiyangs local accent and was easy to arouse public reflections. And the film uses the camera to explore whether the Yiyang Tune still exists on Yiyang after more than 600 years of history.
