Recently, the School of Performing Arts held the Music Arts Practice Week Awakening the Beauty of the Soul with the Sound of Music at the Chaobai Lecture Hall on Shunyi Campus. The event invited professionals from the Piano Department of the China Conservatory of Music to participate.
The Week featured a total of eight concerts, including various forms such as piano, vocal, and choir performances. On May 29th, the Music Arts Practical Week kicked off with a solo concert by outstanding 2019 graduate Ms.Zhang Wanqi, as well as a faculty-student concert by teachers Ms.Cai Yi and Ms.Cao Wenqing. The event reached its climax with the Red Melody on the Keyboard concert, which was part of the China Conservatory of Music's piano series exhibition. Finally, the week concluded with a piano recital featuring the works of Wang Peng.
The Music Arts Practice Week of Awakening the Beauty of the Soul with the Sound of Music organized by the School of Performing Arts greatly stimulated students' interest and enthusiasm, cultivating their perception, understanding, expression, and creative abilities in music. It also prompted the evaluation and recognition of students' professional level and personal skills to a certain extent, providing them with a clear understanding of their individual professional standards and musical abilities, thus enhancing their music skills and professional competence.
