Recently, the San Marino Confucius Institute was invited to participate in the Castle Festival in Montegiardino to promote the "Chinese Chess and Poker Club" established in cooperation with the local government.

At the event, local people experienced playing mahjong. The Dean and volunteers from Confucius Institute taught Chinese language to the local people from the basic numbers in mahjong, and explained the rules to them in practice, so that the local people were able to have a preliminary understanding of this Chinese game, which is full of intelligence, enjoyment and competitiveness.
