Students in Music Education from School of Performing Arts won awards in two international competitions

Recently, Students in Music Education from School of Performing Arts won awards in two international competitions at the "2023 European Salzburg Music and Dance International Competition" and the "2023 Korea-China International Vocal Competition".

Students in Music Education achieved great results in "2023 European Salzburg Music and Dance International Competition" under the guidance of Dr. Wang Peng and Dr. Qian Zhenying. Among them, Tianwenxuan Feng, a master student in Grade 2021, and Yumian Lin, an undergraduate student in Grade 2021, won the Gold Award; Yuzhuo Zhang in Grade 2019 and Yuxin Lin in Grade 2022 won the Silver Award; Rong Li in Grade 2020 and Yuqi Qiao in Grade 2022 won the Bronze Award.

In the "2023 Korea-China International Vocal Competition" held in May this year, Rong Li and Rongwei Gao, students in Music Education in the Grade 2020, and Yumian Lin, a student in Music Education in Grade 2021, who were supervised by Dr. Qian Zhenying, won the second prize in the Beijing competition.

The “European Salzburg Music and Dance International Competition” is an international music competition organized by the International Association for the Promotion of Music and Dance, a powerful platform for global cultural and artistic communication, and co-organized by the European Musicians' Association. The “Korea-China International Vocal Competition” is jointly organized by the Korea International Exchange Association and the Macau Global International Musicians' Association. The competition aims to discover and cultivate outstanding artistic talents from China and Korea and promote musical and cultural communications between the two countries. The competitors in the China competition are mainly students from conservatories in China.
