School of Graduate successfully held the seminar sharing the winners’ experience of national scholarship for graduate students

Recently, the Graduate School hosted the National Scholarship Winner Seminar with the theme of Graduate Journey Building Dreams, Role Models Steering.The seminar was conducted both online and offline, with some teachers of the graduate school and all students attending.

During the seminar,Six national scholarship winners from different majors shared their experiences and insights on academic development,academic research, professional competitions, paper publication, research experience, growth insights, innovative employment, and answered questions from students on the spot.

Ms.Qi Yuan, an art design graduate student, spoke on the topic of how to explore one's unlimited potential in a comprehensive manner. She detailed her experience of all-round development during her graduate years, shared her academic research, student work, and social service experience, and suggested that students should strive to develop from being a professional to becoming an all-rounder. Ms. Sun Haoyue spoke about her personal experience of spending seven years at Beijing City University as a graduate student who has witnessed every time period of a day. She shared her thoughts on professional learning methods, finding thesis innovation points, and overall architecture.

Mr.Zhou Zhaotong, a graduate student majoring in Social Work, spoke on the topic of Having the Best of Both Worlds - Balancing Study and Work is an Ability. He shared his methods for balancing study and work during his graduate studies, and provided practical advice for his fellow students. Ms.Gao Li spoke on the topic of Chasing the Light and Not Wasting Our Youth - Sharing Academic Research Experience. She focused on three aspects: academic competitions, research, and professional services, and shared her experiences on how to participate in national professional academic forums, how to write papers for publication, and how to improve one's research and innovation skills.

Mr. Ban Zichen, a broadcasting and television graduate student, held his sharing session with the theme Academic Study and Employment - Sharing Insights from a Senior Graduate in their Third Year. He shared his experiences in academic study and employment, and advised fellow students to have a clear plan for their graduate studies. Ms. Sha Jiajia spoke on the topic of Going Further up the Ladder - How to Make the Most of Every Day During Graduate Studies. She shared tips and suggestions on how to efficiently complete internships and study specialized courses.

This seminar further expanded the educational function of the national scholarship for graduate students, fully demonstrated the power of role models, and greatly inspired and motivated the students. It encouraged them to firmly stick to their choices, unite their strength, grow towards the sun with the spirit of climbers,striving to achieve their academic goals and bravely surmounting new heights.
